Structured Cabling
DCS designs data centers according to TIA-942 cable infrastructure design standards. The TIA-942 Telecommunications Infrastructure Standard for Data Centers was published in 2005 and specifies requirements and guidelines for data center infrastructures. The standard covers cabling distances, pathways, site selection, space, and layout, and is a valuable tool in designing your data center infrastructure.

Custom Director Patch Panels
The 10U Director Patch Panel was designed to give a visual of your director at the central patching facility. When you look at the Director Patch Panel, each slot and port count is exactly the same as the slot and port count on the actual director giving you a clear understanding of where to patch your directors under these high density environments.

Custom Staggered Trunks
Overview: DCS has developed a fiber optic cable solution to compliment the Custom Director Patch Panels. Our newly designed staggered cables match all or most director cards on the market. This eliminates slack in the cable allowing for an orderly, well organized cabling solution.

OptiWatch Smart Connectivity
OptiWatch is an intelligent patch panel system that provides tracking and reporting features through management software. OptiWatch v2.0 is a patented PC-based application that facilitates management of the data center’s fiber infrastructure connectivity. If a fiber cable is moved, added, or changed, the application recognizes the change and dynamically updates the database, allowing for easy tracking of connections by way of the OptiWatch patch panels.
